A duct tape fundraiser is a really fun and easy way to raise money for your team, cause, or school. This kind of event requires a willing and patient volunteer, and works great for schools!
How it works:
There are two ways to run your fundraising event. You can either charge for each piece of tape that puts your volunteer on the wall, or host a fundraiser where, if a certain fundraising milestone is passed.
What you’ll need:
Go to a local hardware store to purchase large and small rolls of duct tape and disposable painter’s overalls. If you want to order your duct tape online, you could earn bonus cash back for your fundraiser. Buy more duct tape than you think you’ll need. It’s better to have extra on hand. Duct tape is very sticky and a strip of tape can easily get knotted up, sticking to itself and becoming unusable. We lost several pieces that way.
Prep the area for your fundraiser:
Make sure your surface for your duct tape fundraising event is sturdy. Your volunteer should be fully clothed so that none of the duct tape gets stuck to their skin.
