The Role

We're looking for an experienced PM to join our Product team, working on FlipGive’s Shop and Budget products.

 

In this role you will:

  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas and optimizations that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Assess and address technical risks
  • Establish and track metrics that analyze the performance of the features you own, and use this data to inform your product strategy
  • Provide internal and customer training on how to use the product
  • Create and maintain proper product documentation
  •  

    We are looking for someone who has:

  • 3-5 years experience in product management
  • Familiarity with Agile framework
  • Organizational and leadership abilities
  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • A proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle, and is comfortable leading cross-functional projects with significant technical complexity
  • Used analytics tools (eg. Mixpanel, Amplitude) and requirements software (eg. JIRA, ClickUp, Asana)
  • A passion for talking to customers and experience with design thinking methods (e.g. customer interviews, usability tests)
  • Enough technical knowledge to talk with engineers about architecture and technical considerations that impact product
  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
  • Bonus: A background in software development and program management

    Gift Card Specialist -- Full Time

    The Role

    FlipGive is looking for a full-time in-house Gift Card Specialist to join our Operations and Support team. As a GC specialist, you’ll also work alongside the Finance, Product and Merchandising departments to help manage gift card related inquiries and escalations. You’ll play a critical role in helping to refine existing and building new internal processes related to gift cards.

     

    In this role you will:

  • Become a FlipGive super admin expert to troubleshoot, document, and refine internal processes
  • Support, document and provide knowledge transfer for gift card related training with Tier 1 Customer Support team
  • Key contact for gift card escalations and held gift card reviews between customers and FlipGive Tier 1 Customer Support team
  • Maintain and build business relationships with gift card networks and merchant account managers for escalations related to transactional inquiries, balance disputes, redemption
  • Collaborate with Merchandising team to ensure user facing terms i.e., terms and conditions, redemption details, exclusions are accurate and always up to date
  • Collaborate with Product and Analytics Team make improvements or adjustments to fraud prevention activities
  • Support and work alongside Product team to optimize gift card check out flow
  • Build quarterly reports, stats and learnings from fraudulent activities
  • Ensure best in class customer experience through the maintenance, improvement, and enforcement of gift card program policies

  • Strong internal motivation to get the job done and done well
  • Incredible attention to detail and is capable of multi-tasking and coordinating several tasks at once
  • Strong proven work ethic (you may be asked to provide support outside the 9-5)

  • 2+ years experience in e-commerce or customer support related role an asset

    Partner Account Manager, Sports Partnerships -- Full Time

    The Role

    FlipGive is looking for a talented Partner Account Manager to hit the ground running with our Partnerships team.

     

    What you’ll be doing

  • Manage accounts from start to finish with Director of Partnerships supervision including digital communications plans, schedules, and deadlines for those accounts
  • Set measurable goals and objectives and coordinate with the new customer Acquisition Marketing Manager and Data teams to onboard, monitor, evaluate and report on the performance of campaigns
  • Act as the primary person of contact for assigned Partnership projects, and coordinate digital communications between the Creative, Data, Product, Merchandising, and Club Sales teams as needed
  • Foster, maintain and grow relationships with clients and counsel clients on best practices and approaches, discuss business models, and provide guidance on an ongoing basis
  • Responsible for proactive anticipation and problem solving for issues that may arise during the execution of a partner agreement
  • Assist in prospecting and developing new business presentations and pitches
  •  

    You’ll do well in this position if you

  • Understand the account management process from the initial pitch to final asset delivery.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
  • Can confidently talk to and email partners - taking direction, offering ideas, and following up on requests.
  • Are experienced with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) and have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Have a keen eye for details, both in graphics and in print.

    Experience

  • Degree in Business, Digital Marketing, Technology, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of Account Management or related relationship management experience

  • Demonstrate the ability to work in team settings

    The Role

    We are seeking a strategic, growth-focused, and results-driven Sr. Account Manager with primary responsibility to source, engage and develop FlipGive digital gift card brand partners. This position serves as the primary advocate for a select portfolio of tier 1 and tier 2 brand partners, guiding them along a path to success at FlipGive.

    As a Sr. Account Manager, you are primarily responsible for the post-sales lifecycle of a portfolio of brand partners, and through your partnership, they will drive maximum value on the FlipGive marketplace, leading to further investment with and connection to FlipGive. You will be the key client facing liaison and will be responsible for leading the client relationship as well as all client deliverables, account strategy and execution.

    Working closely with the VP, Business Development, your secondary responsibility will be identifying and closing new strategic brand partners and sponsorship deals that increase the overall value of FlipGive and our community givebacks.

     

    Job Responsibilities

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key brand partners
  • Identify, pitch and successfully close new marketing deal for prospective brand partners looking to meaningfully engage with FlipGive member audience
  • Regularly meet and engage your portfolio of partners and become fluent in their history, their business outcomes, and their goals
  • Drive revenue growth for each brand partner -- Proactively lead a strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones
  • Assess, clarify, and validate merchant needs on an ongoing basis, providing regular ongoing communication and performance reporting.
  • Ensure brand partners understand the full suite of capabilities offered by FlipGive.
  • Prepare merchant proposals that include revenue forecasts and identify multi-channel mass and/or user-level targeted promotional opportunities
  • Coordinate the involvement of company resources in order to meet merchant performance objectives and revenue targets
  • Prepare quarterly and annual merchant reporting and reviews and growth forecasting and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Analyze data and results to find optimization opportunities or trends and understand root causes and solutions.
  • Identify product and merchandising opportunities to drive revenue growth and merchant optimization and liaise with internal stakeholders to build out opportunities.

    What you’ll Need to be Successful

  • Proven track record of achieving success growing a major account portfolio by implementing excellent strategic plans, management, communication and reporting
  • Proven experience managing sales pipelines, and efficiently and effectively moving from initial prospecting through to closed deals
  • Ability to prioritize accounts, track progress, and make sure things get done.
  • Comfortable working towards specific goals & targets.
  • Demonstrable success in analyzing client data and performance metrics and applying strategically in account optimization in order to achieve targets of revenue growth and market share
  • Outstanding negotiation, sales and presentation skills. Has confidence, poise, and eloquence in client meetings and difficult situations
  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising industry value chain, specifically including affiliate models
  • Good knowledge of the retail industry across all core FlipGive marketplace categories in the US & Canada (fashion/beauty, restaurant/dining, general retail, home, electronics, sports+outdoors, travel, entertainment and food/groceries.)

    Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • 5-7 years of online marketing and digital gift card experience required.
  • Extensive network of relationships within Tier 1 US/CA gift card advertisers (clients) and gift card networks required.
  • Direct affiliate marketing (in-house, agency, network, publisher) experience and direct relationship with affiliate marketing networks (Rakuten, ShareASale, Commission Junction, etc.) and top tier affiliate marketing agencies preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and comfortable with formatting, formulas, customizing reports, etc.

    Location

    FlipGive is based in Toronto, CA however this role can also be a remote, work from home position. Ideal candidates will be expected to come to FlipGive Head Office once per quarter. Some travel is required to support business objectives including prospect/client meetings, conferences, internal meetings.
