If you are interested in finding out more about why we are fundraising, please continue reading: SOCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization designed to foster a love of soccer for all ages and levels of play, beginning with the Under age 6 (U6) entry level program, progressing to U8 - U18 Recreation level, advancing to the U10 - U18 Challenge level, and culminating with the U11 - U18 Red, White, Blue, and Skyline Elite Travel Teams, with continuation into an Adult Recreation Program for interested parties. SOCA's Skyline Elite serves the City of Charlottesville, as well as surrounding counties in Virginia, including Albemarle, Augusta, Orange, Rockingham, and the City of Lynchburg. Skyline Elite's U16 Boys ECNL Travel Soccer Team is made up of talented and committed young players, who play in the highly competitive ECNL (Elite Clubs National League). They travel throughout Virginia, North Carolina, and Maryland, as well as nationally to play against the best players from other area and regional clubs. Our U16 Boys ECNL Travel Soccer Team would like to continue their player development with the opportunity to play in an international tournament. Through our fundraising efforts, we hope to subsidize the players' soccer trip to Spain, so they can compete in the Donosti Cup in July 2022. SOCA is offering this exciting opportunity for our team to play soccer matches with players of the same age from a number of different countries.
