A letter to families on FlipGive and everywhere,
The continued spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) around the world has understandably raised concerns for you and your families. This health challenge is one that many of us are navigating for the first time.
As a father, husband, and CEO of FlipGive, I want you to know that we are with you. My team and I are making every effort to support you, our valued members.
At FlipGive, it’s our mission to help families make the most of their everyday spending to ultimately fund activities they love - whether that be a sport, school program or community effort. And, while many of these valued programs have been placed on hold during this uncertain time - now more than ever, we want to ensure we’re doing our best to help you make your dollar go further.
1. We continue to work with our retail partners to offer ways to earn back on everyday essentials - like gas, groceries and personal care products.
2. We’ve made changes to our Personal Account feature which allows you to continue earning on essential shopping even if your season is over. You can learn more here.
We’re also doing our part to responsibly run our business while respecting all guidance and direction from Public Health agencies across the nation. Our entire team is working remotely but remains connected in order to support each other while providing any assistance you might need.
These are difficult times indeed and it’s never been more important to support loved ones and members of our community.
We hope for some positive moments to treasure in the coming days; a walk outdoors, home-cooked meals with family, losing yourself in a good book and if you're up for it, 5 minutes of uninterrupted dancing with your kids.
It goes without saying that my priority is the wellbeing of our members and employees, and all of our families and loved ones. We wish you and your family optimism and good health.

I ordered yesterday from Chewy & we did not get money back! This is the 3rd time a company listed did not give money back Vineyard Vines & Sticky Fingers restaurant also did not comply. They should be taken off if they do not give back!

That seems so bizarre as now more than ever, the charities trying to earn money to keep running depend on a giant like Amazon for support. Most of my purchases were on Amazon to support the charity I subscribe to. This makes no sense to me. Not a reflection on you guys at FlipGive at all.

Thank you so much for that great question.
As part of Amazon’s efforts to focus their business on helping customers with essential support, they have made the difficult decision to shut down all promotional affiliate programs with valued loyalty partners like FlipGive.
This is currently a temporary measure and FlipGive is unsure how long this will last. As of now, the plan is that Amazon will reactivate the program but there is no definitive timeline for this.
We continue to check in with our Amazon partners regularly as the situation with COVID-19 evolves. We promise to keep FlipGive members up-to-date as soon as we know more.
Don’t forget - Amazon.ca gift cards (Gives 1% back) are still available for purchase through FlipGive and can be spent for online shopping on Amazon.ca.
