How a 50/50 fundraiser is organized

Anyone can purchase as many tickets as they want to for a fixed fee. Usually, tickets for your fundraiser that are purchased in bulk are available at a discounted price. Typically, participants have to be present at the time of the draw to win. So if this kind of fundraiser is something that is going on for an extended period of time, make sure the end date is clearly stated. It’s ideal if your draw period is at an event that is already taking place. This works twofold. It gives your supporters more time to buy tickets, and it encourages people to show up for your event.

Have a flyer that outlines the details of your fundraiser and make sure that your community or team knows well in advance. All in all, a 50/50 raffle fundraiser is a fast and easy way to raise money for your team!
