Make sure you have good location for your fundraiser
Because scavenger hunt fundraisers are run over a pretty substantial amount of space, make sure that your fundraiser is located in safe place for everyone to run around in. Ideal places for scavenger hunt events are large local parks or play areas. Keep in mind the age of your participants when you are running your fundraiser. The younger the participants, the closer together your scavenger hunt locations should be.
Have participants create teams
Make sure that each team has a leader, and if your participants are young, have a leader that is a parent of one of your participants.
How your fundraiser raises money
Teams are required to raise a certain amount of money or pay an entry fee to participate in the scavenger hunt fundraiser. You can also encourage sponsorships.
