Gift wrapping services are a great way to raise money for your team, cause, or school during the holiday season. This is the kind of fundraiser that has to run for a few weeks, and is dependent on your supporters having the items they want wrapped on hand.
How to run your fundraiser:
Contact your local mall to see if you can host your fundraiser in it’s facilities. This is the very best way to raise money with your gift wrapping fundraiser. You can run this kind of fundraiser at a community centre or in a school gym, but it’s often hard for your supporters to remember to bring in their gifts.
Preparing for your fundraiser:
You need to make sure that your volunteers know how to wrap items. Host a training session for your volunteers, and have a schedule for your volunteers as well. Take into account the cost of the items that your fundraiser is going to need for the gift wrapping, and have a price chart that is based on the measurements of the items you’re wrapping.
Earning extra cash back:
The holiday season is a time where your supporters are in the spirit of giving. Have some information available about the cause you’re raising money for, and have a donation box so that your supporters can donate extra money to your fundraiser if they choose.
