Set up a public penalty shootout challenge at a community event, farmers market, or school fair. Participants pay a small ... fee to attempt to score on your goalkeeper (or against a target). Offer a prize for anyone who scores, and encourage spectators to sponsor their favourite shooter with pledges. It's interactive, fun, and a natural crowd-pleaser that puts field hockey in front of people who may never have seen the sport up close.

Partner with a locally owned Canadian restaurant and designate a specific evening as your team's fundraising ... night. The restaurant donates a percentage of that evening's sales back to your field hockey team (typically 10–20%). Promote it through team families, school channels, and social media in the weeks leading up to the event. The more tables you fill, the more your team earns. It requires almost no overhead, strengthens ties with local businesses, and gives families an easy, enjoyable way to support the team.

Partner with a local photographer to offer professional team and individual player photos at the start or end of the ... season. Families pay a sitting fee and purchase photo packages, with a portion of the proceeds going directly to the team. Field hockey families (especially those with players in their final year) are often eager to capture the season.
